Entering in to Chlorotoluenes value chain is another step of Epigral towards entering into specialty chemicals and import substitute products. This plant will be first of its kind intermediate facility which will be backward integrated with Toluene Chlorination (Ring Chlorination) plant in India. Epigral Limited has been able to launch a wide range of pharmaceutical, agricultural chemical intermediates.

Epigral aims to venture into the Chlorotoluenes sector and its value chain. The company has announced plans to initiate this project in FY2024. The setup will be integrated into the existing Complex at Dahej, capitalizing on the available infrastructure.
This upcoming facility will specialize in manufacturing intermediates crucial for the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries, specifically for active ingredient production.
Epigral is set to lead as the first in India for chlorotoluenes production. The initial phase will witness the introduction of around 10 – 15 products through diverse chemical reactions. This initiative further enhances Epigral’s standing within the specialty chemical sector.
